Jazzmasters are proving to experience a solid comeback into the mainstream these days, after being Fender's underdogs and indie kids favourites. Many players who were true to their Strats and Teles are only now discovering these truly inspiring instruments. As a result, Jazzmasters are increasingly hard to get in the second hand market, mainly because everyone who owns one won't want to part with it.

Jazzmaster for sale is truly unique, sporting a flame maple neck with black block markers and gorgeous Mystic Seafoam Green gloss finish. You don't see too many Jazzmasters with maple necks, let alone with black block markers. Custom-made body has a truly gorgeous colour, matching mint green vintage style pickguard and those uber-cool "Witch hat" knobs.

The neck comes from a rare Modern Player Jazzmaster, that was only produced for a very short period of time. Mid-sized C-shape and flatter 9.5-inch radius help make this very user-friendly and that gorgeous flame maple looks like it actually belongs on a high-end Custom Shop. Kluson Deluxe tuners have vintage design and provide stable tuning even with active tremolo use.

The electic voice is provided by a pair of Seymour Duncan single-coils with a vintage-ouput neck pickup for enhanced clarity and powerful overwound bridge pickups for punch and bite. This Jazzmaster also comes with a secret weapon - a slider switch that puts both pickups into series connection, effectively turning them into a spaced humbucker with double the output and a lot of grit and balance thanks to a warm neck pickup and bright bridge pickup sounds.

As a bonus when the slider is up and the toggle 3-way switch is in the neck position there is no sound, so you can use the slider as a killswitch for all those cool stutter effects a-la Tom Morello. Useless rhythm circuit rollers have been removed. Wiring consists of CTS USA A250K pots, Switchcraft 3-way toggle and 2-way slider switches, treble roll off is provided by an awesome Orange Drop 0.033uf tone capacitor.
Stable and reliable Hosco vibrato system allows for all those lovely wobbles that Jazzmasters are so adored for and comes with a long and stylish arm.

The biggest issue that classic Jazzmasters have is the dreadful bridge, that moves around, rattles and steals all the sustain and ruins tuning stability. Many people replace the original bridge with a Mustang type with non-adjustable barrel saddles. This solves the string slippage and rattle issue, but the bridge still moves back and forth, ruining intonation. Others put on a tune-o-matic bridge like many Gibsons have. This solves all the above issues and introduces a more solid connection to the body (screw-in post) and improved sustain. Unfortunately because the bridge doesn't rock with the tremolo anymore, additional friction is created at the saddles and the tuning stability is compromised. But how about a tune-o-matic with free-rolling saddles? This just might be a perfect solution to all the troubles.

Guitar comes in near new condition with minimal wear all around, just some scratches on the neck pickup cover, fretboard and uneven pickguard holes under the bridge posts.

This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body cleaning, body polish, neck deep clean, full electronics check, truss-rod and action and intonation adjustment. Restringed with D'addario 10-46 Nickel-plated steel strings.

This guitar will be shipped around UK and EU with Parcelforce courier, safely packed into a sturdy guitar cardboard box. 24h courier service provided to UK customers. Worldwide shipping available as well!
