"I will be watching you!"

We took a rare Fender Japan Sting Signature Precision Bass and deliberately sent it straight back to 1953, before the lawyers, before the gloss, before anyone thought bass players should behave themselves. This is a full early-’50s Precision Bass tribute, refinished in vintage-correct nitrocellulose and then relic’d mercilessly in-house by the Guitar Garage London team. Not “lightly aged”. Not “tastefully worn”. This thing has clearly walked out of rehearsal at 3am, missed the last train, and still made the gig.

The wear tells stories. Forearm burn from playing the same riff over and over until it finally clicked. Buckle rash from standing too close to the front of the stage while someone else took the spotlight. Scars that feel less “custom shop” and more “Message in a Bottle was written somewhere near here”. It looks like it’s been carried through smoky clubs, half-packed vans, and awkward silences — the kind of bass that doesn’t just play lines, it stakes them out and holds them down.

Plug it in and it’s pure Sting energy: authoritative, melodic, slightly dangerous. The kind of Precision tone that sits exactly where it needs to — not shouting, not hiding, just locking in and making everything else behave. Think walking the line between restraint and obsession, the low-end equivalent of a perfectly placed lyric that says more by saying less. If you’ve ever wanted a bass that feels like it’s already heard Roxanne too many times, waited for the chorus to hit, and decided to carry the whole band anyway… congratulations. You’ve found it.

This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body cleaning, body polish, neck deep clean, lemon oil fretboard treatment, full electronics check, truss-rod and action and intonation adjustment. Restringed with Rotosound 45-100 Nickel-plated steel strings.

This guitar will be shipped around UK with Parcelforce courier, safely packed into a sturdy guitar cardboard box. 24h courier service provided to UK customers. We also ship to USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and many other places, but at the moment we don't ship to EU or Northern Ireland.
