Here is a chance to own one truly unique Stratocaster, build to the highest USA spec. This guitar will be perfect for those players, who seek a combination of modern playability, versatile noiseless sounds and old-school feel and looks.

American Deluxe neck has some truly inspiring specs: slim C-shape and satin lacquer on the back of the neck make this fast and easy to play, compound fretboard radius (9.5-inch to 14 inch) and medium jumbo frets mean easier soloing up the neck. The face of the headstock has gloss lacquer and unique USA Deluxe chrome logo. You will also notice the absence of the string tree: staggered tuners allow to remove it and thus reduce friction and improve tuning stability.

Big help when it comes to tuning stability also comes from the ingenious design of the LSR nut, only used on top-spec Deluxe models and reducing the friction at the nut to almost zero thanks to the special bearings.

Neck also has gorgeous abalone dot inlays, that complete the luxurious looks. Neck is equipped with a Bi-Flex truss-rod, that allows to correct both convex and concave necks, thus increasing set up possibilities and reliability over the years. Frets have no wear at all, back of the neck is spotless. There are some string scratches on the gloss face of the headstock and some rosewood fretboard edge wear here and there.

Now to the unique part! The gorgeous ash body in striking dark 2-tone tobacco sunburst nitro finish comes from a very early Fender Custom Shop 50s Stratocaster, made by luthier J Grant in June of 1988. Fender's "Dream Factory" was only founded a year before - so Fender had a lot to prove back then and some stunning guitars were built as a result.

Unlike so many ash bodies this one doesn't weight a ton (total guitar weight is only 3.5 kg, which is a usual average for a Stratocaster with Alder body). The wood figuring is absolutely beautiful and the deep color of the finish looks sublime. This survived for 32 years with no structural modifications, original SSS body routing is intact and the cavities are factory-shielded with paint and grounded to a pot to avoid any interference. The eagle-eyed will notice once screw missing in the scratchplate. This is because the body has 1950s style control cavity route without that extra shoulder for that screw.

As you probably expect from a Custom Shop nitro-cellulose finished ash body this is loud acoustically and has beautifully deep natural resonance. Body has plenty of surface wear (nitro finish is quite delicate) with small scratches, dings and patina here and there. Lacquer cracks form some interesting patterns, but these are purely cosmetic. Highest quality brass shims were used in the neck pocket to get a good fit for the neck.

Fender Deluxe Noiseless pickups provide all the classic Stratocaster sounds without that annoying single-coil hum, making this a perfect recording and touring guitar. From warm and dark neck pickup to balanced middle pickup to punchy and twangy bridge. The tonal palette is further enhanced by Tone controls (Tone 1 for the neck, Tone 2 for the middle and bridge), that have quite useful wide sweep and gentle gradual treble roll off.

Unique factory feature of this guitar comes in a form of a humble button near Tone 2. When the 5-way blade switch is in neck pickup position and the button is pressed the bridge pickup will be engaged, giving you that Telecaster sound, otherwise not available on a Strat with a 5-way switch. Moving the selector to position 2 (normally neck+middle) will give you all 3 pickups together for a crystal-clear almost acoustic sound.

Tremolo system boasts a very high quality dense cold rolled steel tremolo block, very similar to ones used on real 1950s Stratocasters. The tremolo system is stable and expressive, currently set on 3 springs. Single ply black tremolo cavity cover and tremolo arm with snug fit will be included with the guitar.

Also included with this Stratocaster are some neat accessories. Guitar will be shipped in a lovely Fender Tweed case with gold trimmings, orange plush interior, two compartments and nice neck support. Keys for the locks are included. You will also get a Fender Custom Shop tweed guitar cable, Fender tweed strap with leather ends, chrome Schaller strap locks for enhanced safety on stage, Fender owner's manual, Custom Shop and Fender stickers and Fender polishing cloth.

This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body cleaning, body polish, neck deep clean, rosewood fretboard lemon oil treatment, full electronics check, truss-rod and action and intonation adjustment. Restringed with D'addario 10-46 Nickel-plated steel strings.

This guitar will be shipped around UK and EU with Parcelforce courier, safely packed into a sturdy guitar cardboard box. 24h courier service provided to UK customers. Worldwide shipping provided as well.
