Everyone loves Strats - but not everyone wants a tremolo on their guitar! Solution? Screw the tremolo all the way in on 5 springs. Or get a hardtail Stratocaster! This beautiful instrument started its life in 1996 as an American Standard model. At some point the body has been replaced by this glorious hardtail variant, that is made out of 1 whole piece of swamp ash. 1-piece bodies are extremely rare on production guitars and fetch a hefty price for obvious reasons. Sienna Sunburst finish lets all the lovely wood grain show through the paint. This is a show-stopper and a head-turner, that's for sure!

Body has some surface wear here and there, a couple of sticker marks on the back and a couple of lacquer cracks, but there is no structural damage and all the internal cavities (SSS design) are still intact.American Standard neck has a comfy C-shape, high-quality finish and really cool dark rosewood fretboard. 9.5-inch fretboard radius and medium jumbo frets make this very easy to play, especially if you are into big bends.  Original tuners and roller string trees help keep tuning stable.

Electric voice on this Strat is provided by a set of Fender's probably most sought-after single-coils - Custom Shop Texas Specials. These are wound slightly hotter than your average Strat pickups, while still retaining truly authentic 1950s design, clarity and versatile tonal palette. Mounted on a champagne pearl aged white pickguard and wired to a classic set of 1 volume and 2 tone pots. All wiring has high-end USA-made parts and should be reliable for years to come.

Classic Fender hardtail bridge sports bent steel saddles and thick baseplate for transmitting maximum string vibration to the body, providing strong sustain and natural resonance. No more springs ringing inside, no more tuning stability issues, that many of the tremolo models have.

This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body cleaning, body polish, neck deep clean, lemon oil fretboard treatment, full electronics check, truss-rod and action and intonation adjustment. Restringed with D'addario 10-46 Nickel-plated steel strings.

This guitar will be shipped around UK and EU with Parcelforce courier, safely packed into a sturdy guitar cardboard box. 24h courier service provided to UK customers. Worldwide shipping available as well, but please get in touch if you are in EU.

Please note that although we put our heart and soul and also all our knowledge into every single guitar we sell, a setup is a personal preference and we cannot give any guarantees. However, we try to get the best playability out of every guitar and set them up so you can play both rhythm and lead. We also pull them all apart to clean and check every single component and replace all unreliable parts with new ones, from dodgy pots to the whole wiring, tuners, string trees, nuts and etc. All the work done is described in detail in the listing.

We make sure that every guitar we sell is problem free and take full responsibility for the accuracy of our listing descriptions. All photographs are done by a professional photographer and processed on a calibrated monitor. Some colours might look slightly different on your monitor, but we will always put the official Fender colour name in the listing description, so please study pictures of other guitars with the same colour if you are unsure. We focus on finding great quality guitars and making them reliable and inspiring to play.
