Black Stratocaster - you cannot get any more classic than that! From David Gilmour to Eric Clapton to thousands of guitarists in between: a black Stratocaster is a true staple in the pantheon of electric guitars.

This Stratocaster was built in the famous Fuji-gen factory in Japan in 1994 as part of the Japan Vintage Reissue series. Modelled after a 1962 Stratocaster, this guitar has that lovely C-shape maple neck with dark rosewood fretboard, vintage-correct 7.25-inch fretboard radius for easy chording, Kluson slotted tuners and classic Golden Era "spaghetti logo". Original frets have some g string wear, but still plenty of life left in them. Back of the neck has just a few very tiny dents, otherwise great condition for it's age.

Resonant alder body has those cool 1960s style deep curves and balanced weight. Original inside cavities haven't been modified and the neck pocket has a snug fit. The body has plenty of small dings and scars all around, mostly on the edges, but no structural damage.

Original Fender Japan pickups with ceramic magnets provide a broad range of tones thanks to the 5-way selector switch. All wiring is also original and works as intended.

Vintage design 6-point tremolo system is reliable and stable, providing you with plenty of "warble" action, if needed. Original tremolo cavity cover and tremolo arm included!

This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body cleaning, neck deep clean, rosewood lemon oil treatment, full electronics check, truss-rod and action and intonation adjustment! Restringed with D'addario 10-46 nickel-plated steel strings.

This guitar will be shipped around UK with Parcelforce 24h courier, safely packed into a sturdy guitar cardboard box. 24h courier service provided to UK customers. Worldwide shipping available as well.

Please note that although we put our heart and soul and also all our knowledge into every single guitar we sell, a setup is a personal preference. However, we try to get the best playability out of every guitar and set them up so you can play both rhythm and lead. We also pull them all apart to clean and check every single component and replace all unreliable parts with new ones, from dodgy pots to the whole wiring, tuners, string trees, nuts and etc. All the work done is described in detail in the listing.

We make sure that every guitar we sell is problem free and take full responsibility for the accuracy of our listing descriptions. All photographs are done by a professional photographer and processed on a calibrated monitor. Some colours might look slightly different on your monitor, but we will always put the official Fender colour name in the listing description, so please study pictures of other guitars with the same colour if you are unsure. We focus on finding great quality guitars and making them reliable and inspiring to play.
