Gorgeous 60s style Stratocaster for sale! This Fender Japan Stratocaster comes with a limited edition run of just 275 guitars and is called "Daybreak Stratocaster". This was Fender Japan response to their earlier black limited run called "Midnight Stratocaster".
This guitar originally came with all gold hardware, now fully converted to a more classic look with less flashy chrome vintage style parts.
Comfortable U-shape early 60s style maple neck has dark slab rosewood fretboard and vintage style honey amber lacquer on the back. Japanese craftsmen sure know how to shape a neck! Matching headstock is such a rarity on any Stratocaster! Truss-rod is traditionally adjusted at the heel, tuners are nice and stable. Neck has no wear on the back and no fretwear, with just a few tiny dings on the headstock and fretboard.
Body is light and resonant and retains its original SSS body routing. Mint green 1962 style 3-ply pickguard and cream plastics compliment that classic look. Several bumps and dents on the body, but no structural damage, extra holes or modifications.
Set of classic Alnico V single-coils provides with a broad variety of tones and has enough punch to drive a tube amp if needed. Detailed and articulate, this Strat has THAT Strat tone, that is ringing across so many legendary records of the last 60 years.
Wiring is all highest grade USA-spec with CTS A250K pots, Oak 5-way switch, ceramic tone capacitor for smooth and gradual treble roll off. Unlike a classic Strat, Tone2 here has been modified to control both the middle and bridge pickup treble response.
And last but not least - the tremolo system has been upgraded to a Fender HW1 system, that has a full size tremolo block and bent steel saddles.
This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body cleaning, body polish, neck deep clean, lemon oil fretboard treatment, full electronics check, truss-rod and action and intonation adjustment. Restringed with D'addario 10-46 Nickel-plated steel strings.
This guitar will be shipped around UK and EU with Parcelforce courier, safely packed into a sturdy guitar cardboard box. 24h courier service provided to UK customers. Worldwide shipping provided as well.

Please note that although we put our heart and soul and also all our knowledge into every single guitar we sell, a setup is a personal preference. However, we try to get the best playability out of every guitar and set them up so you can play both rhythm and lead. We also pull them all apart to clean and check every single component and replace all unreliable parts with new ones, from dodgy pots to the whole wiring, tuners, string trees, nuts and etc. All the work done is described in detail in the listing.
We make sure that every guitar we sell is problem free and take full responsibility for the accuracy of our listing descriptions. All photographs are done by a professional photographer and processed on a calibrated monitor. Some colours might look slightly different on your monitor, but we will always put the official Fender colour name in the listing description, so please study pictures of other guitars with the same colour if you are unsure. We focus on finding great quality guitars and making them reliable and inspiring to play.
