This glorious Ice Blue Metallic Stratocaster was built in Japan in 2021 as part of a limited run of guitars meant for Japan domestic market and features a whole array of very high-end specs, including Fender USA 4th generation Noiseless single-coils, Fender Japan humbucker with split-coil option, USA-spec wiring, compound radius neck and USA Deluxe tremolo system.
 
Beautifully carved alder body has two very unusual for any Stratocaster features: the top binding and the fully recessed neck pocket. Cream binding looks absolutely marvellous against the sparkly Ice Blue metallic finish and the recessed neck pocket allows for easier access to higher frets.
 
Pearloid white pickguard and cream knobs and pickup covers provide lovely contrast to the rest of the body. All inner cavities have been carefully shielded at the factory and all the shielding has been properly ground to form a "Faraday Cage" to curb any kind of electrical interference.
 
The beautiful and ultra-fast maple neck comes with a very comfy satin back finish. However, the headstock face is glossy and has that ultra-cool Deluxe style chrome Fender logo. Roller string tree and locking tuners reduce friction and help increase tuning stability.
 
Rosewood is nice and dark, just like on those 1960s Strats. Fretboard has a compound radius, following the tradition of Fender USA Deluxe models. At the "chord" side of the neck the radius is 9.5-inch and the fretboard slowly "flattens" towards the "epic solos" end of the neck - to a Gibsonesque 12-inch. The back of the neck is also compound - starting as a C-shape and slowly increasing the "shoulders" to a D shape. The precision of manufacturing and the attention to detail is truly inspiring - this is indeed a very high end instrument.
 
Electric voice is provided by the most versatile combination of pickups. In the neck and middle position you have Fender USA 4th Generation noiseless single-coils. Now you can stack your gain pedals as much as you want - no more single-coil noise! Perfect for any kind of loud stage or studio situation. In the bridge position you have a specially designed for this model Fender Japan humbucker with 12k output and vintage-style AlNiCo magnets. Thanks to a push-pull Tone2 pot you can split the coil on the humbucker for a more classic twangy Strat bridge pickups sound.
 
Fender Japan wizards went all in with the wiring, that consists of highest quality USA-made components, such as CTS brass-shaft pots, Oak 5-way switch and Switchcraft output jack. These components not only make this Strat extremely reliable, but they will also last for a long long time before any service is needed.
 
The tremolo system comes from Fender USA Deluxe models, with 2-point fulcrum design for much more improved tuning stability even with active use. Saddles have chrome finish and the original tremolo arm comes with a pop-in design and no plastic tip.
 
Except for some very minor neck pickup cover surface plectrum wear, this Stratocaster comes in mint condition, with no dings or structural damage. What a stunning example of the famous Fender Japan master builders' passion!
 
This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body cleaning, neck deep clean, lemon oil rosewood fretboard treatment, full electronics check, truss-rod and action and intonation adjustment! Restringed with D'addario 10-46 nickel-plated steel strings.
