Cool Fender Telecaster for sale! Made in 1989 in the famous FujiGen factory in Japan. This guitar has it all: Iconic look of a "Blackguard" Telecaster, Japan craftsmanship and upgraded USA pickups and wiring

Gorgeous two-piece ash body is resonant and not too heavy and has some really stunning wood grain.

Slim C-shape maple neck is a pleasure to play. American Standard Alnico V pickup set provide a very versatile tonal palette and all wiring is also USA-spec, with CTS A250K pots and Oak 3-way switch.

Body wear is quite moderate, with only a few little dings here and there. Inner cavities are untouched, there are no nasty modifications. Beautiful bakelite black pickguard completes the vintage 1952 look.

Most of the wear is concentrated on the maple neck, with plenty of lacquer wear, small dings and a long lacquer crack on the back (this is just a lacquer crack and it is not in the wood). At some point in the past the neck has been refretted with medium jumbo frets, that are currently low, but even. Original Gotoh Japan tuners work very well and have tension adjustment screws - so they will never get loose.

Classic Fender Pat Pend bridge is equipped with brass saddles, that provide pretty good intonation and sustain.

This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body clean, neck deep clean and full electronics check. Restringed with D'addario 11-49 nickel-plated steel strings.

This guitar will be shipped around UK and EU with Parcelforce courier, safely packed into a sturdy guitar cardboard box. 24h courier service provided to UK customers. Worldwide shipping provided as well.
