This truly special Les Paul is the most punk-rock Gibson we've ever had here in the shop!

Born at the Gibson factory in Nashville, Tennessee in 2003, this Les Paul originally had a cherry red satin finish and a tune-o-matic and stop-bar bridge combination. At some point in its illustrious life, it got this pretty epic Seafoam Green satin nitro refinish and a 1959 style Les Paul Special wraparound bridge conversion. Every little battlescar tells a story, every ding sings a new song.

Chunky C-shape mahogany neck is very easy to play thanks to the 12-inch fretboard radius and worn satin back finish. Medium jumbo frets have very little wear and the old and truly classic headstock repair is stable and reliable (we played this for 4 years before putting it up for sale).

Tuners have been upgraded to Kluson chrome models with "tulip" tuners and the nut has been upgraded to TUSQ frictionless one for increased tuning stability. Les Paul Custom truss-rod cover is a cool little touch. Truss-rod works well and the neck is straight as an arrow.

The body is lightweight yet very resonant thanks to the wraparound setup. It really sings in your hands and you can feel every note vibrate through the body. Tortoiseshell pickguard and the "bell" knobs match the finish worn through to the original cherry red very nicely.

Most early Gibsons came with a wraparound bridge design, that is both rudimental and also still quite effective. Rock solid tuning stability is a given with this kind of design. We've upgraded the bridge to a high-end Faber model, that has brass saddles with compensated design for much more precise intonation across the fretboard.  Original wraparound bridge will be included with the guitar.

Radioshop P90 single-coil pickups present a wide sonic spectrum of tones, from full and warm neck pickup, to raunchy and bitey bridge pickup to a heavenly balance in the middle position. The wiring has been fully upgraded with CTS USA A250K pots for the bridge pickup and CTS USA A500K pots for the neck pickup, Orange Drop 0.033uf capacitor for the neck pickup, Sprague Vitamin Q 0.047uf capacitor for the bridge pickup, Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch and Switchcraft output jack.

This truly unique Les Paul will be shipped in a very sturdy Hiscox UK-made hardcase with red plush interior, Rotosound black strap, Dunlop strap lock strap attachments and pins and original Gibson Owner's manual.

This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body cleaning, body polish, neck deep clean, lemon oil fretboard treatment, full electronics check, truss-rod and action and intonation adjustment. Restringed with D'addario 10-46 Nickel-plated steel strings.

This guitar will be shipped around UK and EU with Parcelforce courier, safely packed into a sturdy guitar cardboard box. 24h courier service provided to UK customers. Worldwide shipping available as well!

However, we try to get the best playability out of every guitar and set them up so you can play both rhythm and lead. We also pull them all apart to clean and check every single component and replace all unreliable parts with new ones, from dodgy pots to the whole wiring, tuners, string trees, nuts and etc. All the work done is described in detail in the listing.

We make sure that every guitar we sell is problem free and take full responsibility for the accuracy of our listing descriptions. All photographs are done by a professional photographer and processed on a calibrated monitor. Some colours might look slightly different on your monitor, but we will always put the official Fender colour name in the listing description, so please study pictures of other guitars with the same colour if you are unsure.
