This is a Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster, aka the Jazzmaster Fender built after finally admitting that not everyone enjoys wrestling with floating bridges, microscopic frets and a fingerboard radius that feels like a soup bowl. It’s the “we fixed it” version: a comfy medium C neck, a civilised 9.5-inch radius, 21 medium jumbo frets you can actually bend on, and a tune-o-matic bridge that stays put no matter how hard you attack it. In other words, it behaves like a modern guitar while still looking like it should be played in a smoky club by someone who doesn’t explain their pedalboard.
Now for the important bit — the attitude. This one’s been refinished in vintage-style Sherwood Green nitro, complete with a matching headstock because life is too short not to. The nitro has already started doing its thing: small dings, finish wear around the neck plate, and that soft, slightly beaten-up look that makes it feel like it’s been around longer than it actually has. It’s not pretending to be mint, and that’s exactly the point. You can just grab it, plug in and get on with it.
Sonically, this isn’t some overwound modern Jazzmaster that shouts all the time. It’s been upgraded with Fender USA Pure Vintage ’65 Jazzmaster pickups, so you get the proper wide, open, chimey top end, the woody low end, and that slightly sarcastic midrange Jazzmasters are famous for. The full lead and rhythm circuits are still here, wired with Switchcraft hardware and CTS pots, so you can go from glassy surf cleans to darker, moodier sounds without touching your amp. The alder body keeps things balanced, factory shielding keeps it quiet, and at 3.3 kg it won’t punish your shoulder halfway through a set.
Think of this as the Jazzmaster for people who love the mythology but prefer their guitars to actually cooperate. Vintage looks, vintage voice, modern playability, and zero drama. It’s the kind of guitar that quietly smirks while others argue about whether a bridge “should” rattle.
Vintage soul, modern manners, and zero nonsense — a Jazzmaster that looks like it’s seen things, plays like it hasn’t, and absolutely refuses to fight back.
This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body cleaning, body polish, neck deep clean, lemon oil fretboard treatment, full electronics check, truss-rod and action and intonation adjustment. Restringed with D'addario 10-46 Nickel-plated steel strings.
This guitar will be shipped around UK with Parcelforce couriers, safely packed into a sturdy guitar cardboard box. 24h courier service provided to UK customers. Worldwide shipping provided as well, but at the moment we don't ship to EU or Northern Ireland.

DISCLAIMER
Please note that although we put our heart and soul and also all our knowledge into every single guitar we sell, a setup is a personal preference. However, we try to get the best playability out of every guitar and set them up so you can play both rhythm and lead. We also pull them all apart to clean and check every single component and replace all unreliable parts with new ones, from dodgy pots to the whole wiring, tuners, string trees, nuts and etc. All the work done is described in detail in the listing.
We make sure that every guitar we sell is problem free and take full responsibility for the accuracy of our listing descriptions. All photographs are done by a professional photographer and processed on a calibrated monitor. Some colours might look slightly different on your monitor, but we will always put the official Fender colour name in the listing description, so please study pictures of other guitars with the same colour if you are unsure. We focus on finding great quality guitars and making them reliable and inspiring to play.
