This is Fender Japan quietly losing the plot in the best possible way. A Limited Edition ’69 Vintage Reissue Telecaster in Blue Flower metallic — the kind of finish that looks like it should come with free incense and a strong opinion about authority. It’s loud, cheerful, and completely unashamed of itself, yet underneath the psychedelic outfit sits a very serious, very proper vintage-spec Tele that knows exactly what it’s doing.
Built in 2016 with classic MIJ precision, this is one of those guitars that makes people smile before you’ve even played a note… and then shuts them up once you do.
The U-shape maple neck is a substantial, confidence-inspiring thing, finished in clear gloss and softened nicely with rolled-in fretboard edges, so it feels played-in rather than precious. The vintage 7.25" radius and 21 vintage frets keep things old-school, encouraging rhythm work, expressive bends, and all the choppy, jangly nonsense a Tele does best. At just 3.3 kg it’s wonderfully lively, resonant in the hands, and perfectly balanced — the sort of guitar that feels awake even before you plug it in.
Electronics are pure, honest Telecaster through and through. Original Fender vintage-style AlNiCo V single coils deliver that familiar snap, twang, and bite, backed up by original wiring with a treble-bleed circuit that keeps things crisp when you roll back the volume.
Hardware is exactly how Leo Fender intended it to be: vintage-style slotted tuners and the classic “Pat Pend” bridge with steel saddles keep the tuning stable and the sustain solid.
There’s a touch of honest wear — tiny ding on the body edge, and one at the top of the headstock — but nothing structural, nothing dramatic, just proof that this guitar hasn’t spent its life hiding in a case.
A proper Telecaster wearing ridiculous clothes, built impeccably, and ready to cause mild chaos.
This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body clean, neck deep clean and full electronics check. Restringed with D'addario 10-46 nickel-plated steel strings.

However, we try to get the best playability out of every guitar and set them up so you can play both rhythm and lead. We also pull them all apart to clean and check every single component and replace all unreliable parts with new ones, from dodgy pots to the whole wiring, tuners, string trees, nuts and etc. All the work done is described in detail in the listing.
We make sure that every guitar we sell is problem free and take full responsibility for the accuracy of our listing descriptions. All photographs are done by a professional photographer and processed on a calibrated monitor. Some colours might look slightly different on your monitor, but we will always put the official Fender colour name in the listing description, so please study pictures of other guitars with the same colour if you are unsure.
